COMPASS: Spatial Orientation
Match the three cockpit instruments — RBI, Artificial Horizon and Heading Indicator — to the correct airplane in the grid. You have 10 minutes. Answer as many as you can.
How to read each instrument
- RBI — the yellow arrow points from your aircraft toward the beacon (relative to your nose).
- Artificial Horizon — shows pitch (up / none / down) and bank (left / none / right).
- Heading Indicator — the current heading (N/E/S/W). Grid North is at the top.
- The beacon (bulls-eye) sits at the centre of the 5×5 grid. Aircraft show heading and attitude via the green arrow (or dot for straight & level).
